3 options 3 joruneys

Ive been asked (more like told but like to feel that im in control at least somewhat) to choose three experiences in my life so i can later pick one to write a pop culture memoir type thing on it. The first if these experiences i would like to talk about is the first and only time i was in a soccer riot back in '98 it was a pretty memorable experience filled with joy, frustration, tears, and lastly fear only problem is I dont know if that will count as a pop culture due to the fact that soccer isnt nearly as popular here in the U.S. than it is in other countries around the world. Enough about that lets look at my second option which deals with childhood affair (or obession, it doesnt really matter theyre both about the same) with Pokemon. Yea everybody that grew up in the 90s remembers those lovable cute monsters that we loved to see beat the living crap out of each other. Funny thing is that everybody got into this obession, love, crazed for these so called pocket monsters that we just had to have in every form and size. We had them on our candy, on our video games, on our pinatas (yes pinata for just a few bucks you got to hit a huge cardboard pikachu till candy fell out) on our blankets and the most important of all these the trading card game ( that nobody knew how to play and really didnt matter). Well that right there is the second option which is all fine and dandy which leads into the third and final option which is... Well right now im kinda stuck because i dont really know what to say. Oh I just got hit with inspiration ( if you want to call it that but then again it doesnt matter what you want to call it because thats what im calling it) my third option is about the time subject of moving that right this is for any of you out there who had to be yank out of the place you grew up, with familar surroundings and people that love you and put into a completely different place and where there is a new set a rules (a whole new ball game to put it into a sports analogy). Of course Im talking about the time i moved to a little state called Tennessee. There you have it those are my options all of my cards are on the table and hopefully if I dont forget next time im on this site you will get to here one of these into details. Oh and i almost forgot if you want, nobody forcing you, you can leave a comment asking for the one you want to here.

  1. Hola Ramon I too grew up with pokemon, I played the video games so much that it turned into somewhat of an obsession. I'd like to hear what your experiences with this franchise might be. :)

  2. I personally would like to hear what you have to say about pokemon. I quite enjoyed watching the tv show every morning and I certaining still have my massive card collection (that I didn't know how to play either).
